I put a clothesline out during playtime with a
basket of Easter clothes pins. It didn't take long before
someone began to make patters with the clothes pins
...frog, bunny, frog, bunny...
Another student saw this and wanted to make her own Easter
clothes pins. This is what she created.
Somehow this clothes line idea turned into a bunny message
system. We got more ribbon and added some paper to the
basket of clothes pins and kids were sending all sorts of
messages.
'Hi bunny'
Some of our bunnies making messages.
All you do is peg your message on at one end
and pull the ribbon. Your message moves to the bunny hole.
"I'm saying bye bye."
"This one is for my friend!"
'Hi'
'I like your message'
'Hi Mrs. Paonessa'
'I share movies with my mom'
'Hi I love you'
While one group was creating the bunny message
system, another group built a bunny mailbox.
It looks like next week will be full of messages and mail.
These messages were all written in the last 15 minutes of playtime. I can't wait to see what
kind of messages we will have next week when we have more time!
