One of the girls in the class brought in a handful of fallen leaves. She worked all day making a giant tree and tracing the leaves she brought in. We hung the tree up and decided to read a poem about fall trees.
She asked if we could throw the leaves up in the air in the classroom to watch them fall...so we did. The kids loved it so much we got a giant pile of leaves and brought it into our outdoor yard for some fall fun.
What a beautiful day to be outside!
